Description

The D 05 smoke detector is equipped with a photoelectric sensor with a service life of at least 10 years, supplied with three CR 2450 (3V) batteries. The photoelectric sensor is more sensitive and enables early detection of smoke from smouldering fire sources, slight changes to smouldering materials before they even spread into a fire. The device does not contain any radioactive compounds that are hazardous to the environment. The smoke alarm should be installed in every room (except for the bathroom) and along passageways (corridors, hallways), with particular emphasis on its location enabling it to be heard by all household members. For minimum security, a smoke alarm should be installed in passageways (corridors, hallways) near sleeping rooms.
